This is part of my garden. The rosebush in the foreground was from my mom. Its a David Austin pink climber that smells incredible. In the background are my favorite flower, iris. Some of the iris are from my grandmother's garden. There is thyme, a new raspberry cane and chives. I also planted gladiola and dutch iris. Soon I will put in cilantro and basil.
Each year when the iris buds come out, I go out every morning and count how many flowers I will be seeing. Iris smell beautiful as well and the first one of spring just makes me feel so happy.
