My friend Lisa, sent me the most beautiful picture of a pale blue iris blooming in her garden. That gave me the idea for this. Unfortunately, none of my iris are out in the garden yet so I went to the nursery and took this. This fuzzy part is called the 'beard'. I came within inches of buying this today.
