INSECTS

The day before Carly's birthday I took Maggie for a walk pretty late. I came home after dark and spotted something glinting in my front garden. Looking closer I found this ladybug and hundreds of real ladybugs covering my peonies and the mailbox. In the back, the rose bushes were also covered. The ICE Club came by in the cover of darkness to release the ladybugs for Carly's birthday. After doing a little research on them I found this:

"Seen often as a messenger of promise, the ladybug reconnects us with the joy of living. Fear and joy cannot co-exist. We need to release our fears and return to love - this is one of the messages that the ladybug brings to us."

  1. This is without doubt my favourite caption of the blog. And that ladybug is the prettiest insect I have ever seen.
