When I was little, my Mom used to make Snackin' Cake. It was a banana cake that you would fold up the box it came in, add water and bake. It seemed like a mystery to me - a grown up version of Easy Bake. I was going to make Mac and Cheese for my photo today, the ultimate comfort food, but no one wanted to eat it so I made this instead. Please tell me I am not the only one who remembers Snackin' Cake. Cake can be comfort food, right?
I loved snackin cake!! Esoecially when it had raisins in it. I wish I was sitting at your kitchen table in your comfortable kitchen eating a piece of cake with a cup of tea.
